James Huang, CEO and Founder

Prior to MerchantRun, James was a financial advisor at Lehman Brothers (Asia-Pacific), where he focused on technology sectors that included consumer electronics and original equipment / design manufacturers. There, he advised on improving financial performance through efficient inventory and liquidity practices. James has several years of experience conducting on and offline retail operations for various consumer products in the U.S. James graduated from University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics and minor in Business Administration.

Ryan Miller, President and Founder

Prior to MerchantRun, Ryan was a founding member of the MIT-based startup Vaultus, a mobility software firm, where he worked as a software product manager. Ryan has also worked as a consultant at Altman Vilandrie in Boston, where he developed operational models for major telecom providers and advised on product strategy. He has worked in various regions across Asia including Taiwan and Shanghai and holds a B.S. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Patrick Yang, Vice President, Engineering

Prior to MerchantRun, Patrick was the Software Project Manager of Accudata Research Institute, Inc., where he focused on large scale ERP, SCM and BI software systems for blue-chip enterprises such as Family Mart Inc.. He also had various software management positions at TaiwanWeb Tech Co., Ltd., a B2B E-marketplace platform provider and Cyberwork Solution Inc., an Internet solution provider. Patrick received his Masters of Science in Information Management at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan.
